Miley Cyrus is proud of her body and she wants the world to know it.
The 18-year-old pop star is fighting back after coming under criticism for adding some much-needed curves to her slender frame.
She took to her Twitter page late last week to talk `bout self love and the dangers of hating your shape after some critics sneered that she had lost control of her body.
'By calling girls like me fat, this is what you're doing to other people,' she wrote to her there million followers on November 11.
The former Hannah Montana star then proceeded to post a photograph of a woman so emaciated that her ribs were clearly visible.
Miley added powerfully: 'I love MYSELF & If you could say the same you wouldn't be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others.'
She also posted a photograph of curvaceous blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe with the caption: 'Proof that you can be adored by thousands of men even when your thighs touch.'
An added bonus: The Climb singer is certain that men love women who aren't all sticks and bones.
'I don't wanna be shaped like a girl. I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man won't mind either ;)' she wrote.
She had a Twitter assist from pal Demi Lovato, who has previously admitted that she once had an eating disorder.
'I will destroy any one that calls you the F (fat) word. You have the SEXIIIESTTT curvyyyy body! I LOVE IT! Werk (work) those curves,' the 19-year-old singer wrote to her friend.
One person who actively loves Miley's curves is Australian boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.
In a recent interview with Who magazine, the 21-year-old Hunger Games star said of his lady love: 'There is this place in Nashville called Steak and Shake, which is pretty much the best food ever. That is our secret, sexy place to go.'
When I look over at [Miley] when she's biting into a steak sandwich and there is some steak sauce dripping down her chin, there is nothing sexier than that.'
